MiamiPace - 2009 Holiday Party

With over 70 guests this past Friday MiamiPace celebrated and closed in on another successful year full of joy, excitement, accomplishments, new friendships and wonderful memories!

Thanks to everyone who shared with us their favorite dishes, drinks and more. Special thanks to our own members, Omar Tinoco putting together our MP 2009 video presentation (see below), our DJ Giancarlo  "Tigre" and James Caballero with his celebrity banner where we all took pictures and felt famous for a few seconds!

We look forward to 2010 and wish you happy holidays!!


Wonderful Trilogy#1!!

Over 1,000 participants gathered up to kick off the Trilogy Season in Miami!
It all began with a beautiful and clear morning. The water was calm...and warm!
Athletes enjoyed a great race cheered by friends and family. To many, it was the perfect way to start out their Father's Day celebration!

MiamiPace was there to experience the beginning of a great season!

Another Great Year at the Zimmerman MS 150 BikeRide to Key Largo
We did it again! This year Miami pace joined forces with Mack Cycle and had a total of 101 bikers. Together we raised a total of $36,745.00

What started out as a rainy morning from UM, turned out to be a beautiful ride to John Penne Kamp in Key Largo? After a nice afternoon in the pool and relaxing with friends, it was an early night for most. Ready the next morning to stand in long lines for bike pick up and breakfast, we headed out again for our second 75mile portion of the ride. Wind was hard, as always, but the temperature was nice. Along the way, we met other bikers and shared the road successfully. Except, with a few incidents of angry Pinecrest residents... we all made it safe back to UM just in time to enjoy a massage and lunch.

Excited about this event, bikers are already talking about next year!!
