In order to keep Trilogy #3 on its original date of August 16th, we have been able to secure the Miami Marine Stadium venue for Trilogy #3 as we did for Trilogy #2.
While we were happy with the venue and how everything turned out at Trilogy #2, we did come up with some improvements to put into place at Trilogy #3:
1. We will be doubling the number of port-o-johns and having a couple extra cases of TP on hand.
2. We will be ordering more food and water to sell to spectators so that they don't take food and water away from the slower finishers.
3. The swim is reversed so that the last swimmers don't cross over the first finishers.
4. We will make sure all gates are open extra early and have larger bolt cutters on hand so that we don't have to make any last second changes to the first duathlon run.
5. We have made some slight changes to the last 3 waves to make the sizes more even.  That is based on the last race and category sizes vary from race to race.
6. We will also see what we can do to spread everyone out more on the starting line so that there are less collisions in the water.
That's all that I can think of for now, but I'm sure we'll come up with more as we are always looking to improve.
New transition/setup area maps will be posted next week to show the changes made due to the dredging project.
