09/09/2010Bike Fun Day(Miami, FL September 8, 2010)—City of Miami Commissioner Francis Suarez and the Green Mobility Network will be hosting a Bike Fun Day at Silver Bluff Elementary located at 2609 SW 25th Avenue on Friday, September 10th from 3:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The event will take place at the school’s physical education field and will be open to all those who are enrolled at the school. Those who are not enrolled in the after school program must be accompanied by an adult.
08/30/2010Miami Nice Cup Challenge!Congratulations to all teams who participated today at the MiamiNice 2! With Team Hammerheads taking first place at he Cup Challenge, MiamiPace takes 2nd place and El Trainer with third place!
It all started with the Miami Nice 1, on April 29th following up with the Miami Nice 2, today August 29. Existing teams and new upcoming teams came together to get points participating on both races and making their presence felt through their members proudly wearing their team's uniform, their support tents, volunteers and of course, podiums!
The event began on June 24 in London, taking the riders to Dove after covering 110 miles and 5,200 feet of climbing. In Dove, the cyclists crossed the English Channel via ferryboat to Calais in France.
